School Communications Can Now Be Sent to Student Cell Phones (Grades 6-12)

To enhance student safety, we have added the ability for students in grades 6-12 to receive emergency alerts, post notifications, and secure messaging from coaches and advisors from ParentSquare via text message. This allows for parent and school administrator visibility into what students are sending and receiving, which is not possible when text messages are sent to/from students outside of ParentSquare or on another messaging platform that has previously been used to communicate, such as social media or Remind.

What if your student doesn't have a cell phone?

Despite what your middle or high schooler might be telling you, there are many students in our secondary schools who do not have a cell phone or smart watch! If your child does not have access to text messages and/or the StudentSquare app, they will continue to receive post and messaging notifications and emergency alerts via email or if they log in to StudentSquare.com on their Chromebook or other computer.
